Established in 1989, as Buena Vista Studios and then going limited in 2003 under the new company name of Bayvista Studios Ltd. our team of cameramen have been together for many years. As the lead photographer I personally attend all weddings and only ever use our own cameramen. You have our assurance we will devote the day to your wedding as we never undertake more than one wedding per day or sub-contact any work.
Our wedding style is to work unobtrusively, capturing the truly memorable occasion as the story unfolds for both video and photography. We prefer a reportage style of photography by keeping the number of formal groups to a minimum, but we do try to follow Bride and Groom's wishes. Although we do provide the traditional wedding albums we do find most couples opt for the new modern story books which are our speciality.
Many of the weddings we capture are from visitors to the Lake District. We are more than happy to arrange everything via phone, email and the postal service, anything to help make things easier. Although we specialise in weddings we do offer many other photography and video services, including a portrait service either on location or at our studio in Whitehaven.
