If you are reading this then you are probably looking for a wedding photographer for your big day, so congratulations on your engagement!
My philosophy on wedding photography is simple. It’s all about being honest, not creating some ‘staged fantasy’ that will look dated in a few years, i.e. “NO CHEESE.” Every couple express their feelings and celebrate their wedding in their own way, it is for me to record this and not contrive it into some cliché. I am there to photograph your day as you designed it, not to have you perform a series of embarrassing circus acts. So running up the lawn all holding hands is not on my radar.
I enjoy the spontaneous nature of weddings and the beauty of modern photography is that you never run out of film. So it’s possible to find and freeze ‘the moment’ you just have to have to be fast on your feet, but that’s all part of the fun!
There is a strong design element to the finish of my work. Whether it is the composition of a collage on glass or the layout of the pages of your book, it is something that I am very passionate about. Once your big day is over, the time I spend on editing, post-production and book design is lengthy, but well worth the effort. Please feel free to contact me or visit my website or studio!
